We all are surrounded by HEROES in real life, we just need to look around to find them. I am welcoming a real life hero, Bollywood celebrity make up artist and my dear friend Jaywant Thakre, who believes in one motto “Never Give up” on my podcast “Chitt ki baat Aartii Naagpal ke saath.” There were so many revelations during our conversation that my respect for him has increased tenfold. He openly spoke about his childhood in Mumbai slums, to juggling his career from there. How to survive in the industry, he went to Jr. Kg, to learn Englishat the age of 17. From bringing Aishwarya Rai in the industry to sitting at home almost jobless. He has done make up for almost all top notch actresses of Bollywood like Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherji, Manisha Koirala, Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen & Me, Aartii Naagpal. He has shared his deep emotions about how even after reaching these heights, he still felt depressed and had suicidal thoughts... Most recently he has done the make up of Ameesha Patel for GADAR 2, which earned more than 500 Cr. at the box office.
