Women remain underrepresented in science, technology, and engineering, despite extensive efforts across Latin America and the Caribbean to increase their participation in this field. With a changing labor market and growing STEM field job opportunities, supporting the transformation of the presence of women in this field is more important than ever.  In this episode, María Caridad Araujo, Chief of the Gender and Diversity Division at the IADB, interviews Ellen Ochoa, the first Latina female to go to space.
